Academic Elites of Ebiraland (AEE) is an organization of enlightened citizens of Ebiraland to emancipate, liberate and ameliorate the youths of our land through enlightenment. It was founded in 2015 by (Engr) A.S Yunusa and with the driving force of other eligible members in Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger state. It was brought to light over the years by the struggle of concerned citizens who hail from different parts of Ebiraland. It is of great concern to the elite to halt the negativities in the society which has indirectly enslaved the intellectual capacities of our youth. The problems in Ebiraland which ranges from clannish, social, religious, political problems to moral decadence can be categorized under one heading which is lack of enlightenment. These problems necessitated the coming together of enlightened individuals to form a body, Academic Elites of Ebiraland (AEE), to enlighten the youths on the core values we share as a nation and the ways by which to make ebiraland better. It is centered on the need for academic excellence, determination for success and capacity building through entrepreneurship and skills acquisition. We believe that until the youths of Ebiraland realize their potential and worth, they cannot make themselves valuable to the society. According to Lao Tzu, “knowing others is wisdom, knowing yourself is enlightenment.
